Are you sure the scale correct ? nobody in their right mind would go to the Antarctic in some that small surly it got to be twice /three time the size. Why there’s not even room for the OH&S personnel the gender awareness trainer , equity and diversity training room, alcohol and drug testing area, environmental recycling area etc etc

Truly real sailors who have my undying respect !!

You are right! I checked several times the scale: just something more that a nutshell!

Please note that the fore lifeboat is the James Caird whaleboat uses to sail till Elephant Island

This is an outstanding peice of art. Words can't express how well this ship looks. They must have been brave men to sail to the end of the world and through all that ice in a boat that small.

Excellent :D

Shackleton is (IMHO) one of the all time great hero's of exploration, not least because he choose to turn back from the Pole to safeguard his men; a lesser leader would have gambled their lives.

BTW. I know I still have the Discovery on my list, but I trully feel it should belong to the Master, to do it justice. If you are interested Lazer I can send you all I have :)

Do you have something about Terra Nova?

No, sorry, nothing on Terra Nova. Also, I haven't begun the Discovery so all I have is some scans off a brochure (with a good side view) plus photo's I took, but I'll post them on the reference section or pm them. :)

I just pm'd you all that I have, which would be useful. :)
