please point out the mistakes I most likely have made. I have altered as less as possible of the original drawing, as it was good work, but it had some flaws and the recent parts updates left me with the thought that this magnificent ship needed an update.

Nice update, but do you have a picture or drawing that show the prop arrangement? The way it's been drawn now it looks like a weird mix between a twin and a single screw arrangement. Unless, of course, the Amsterdam has a very unusual hull.

no picture that shows the arrengement of the axis really good, but working from different pictures and this plan, I think I have made it quite good: it is an single prop, with the supports going to the side.
