Two vessels are under constrction by Vyborg Shipyard PJSC (Russia) for Gazprom Neft's Novy Port based on Aker Design ARC 130A. The planned delivery is within 2017 for the two units named Aleksandr Sannikov (summer) and Andrey Vilkitsky (autumn). Several drawings and rendering are already available in the web but are not fully consistent... here is the profile as it should be: the real (final) design could/should have other two utility boat (???). The final livery is another open issue: I adopted a quite simple livery close with the last russian units. PS: the original ARC130A design shows some minor differencies on the upper structures ( I suppose to add this profile as NeverBuilt) |

Here is an amazing video about the construction of the ship https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=dJaTA0ZWX9s ... there is only an issue: I must update the color. |

That IS rather interesting Special method they use, assembling the blocks on a barge. Must involve certain challenges in terms of keeping the barge stable while placing the blocks. |
