My favorite Norwegian War Ships. It is small and has good seakeeping. But lacking a bit of speed (22 knots), thanks to a government they had in the 60's that want to save money. the boat was originally designed around 10 meters longer than when it was built. which gave a speed lost around 5-7 knots! otherwise a small - large ships.

It had its weaknesses, especially against air attacks, but it was a dangerous against U-boat, when it was build. But the Oslo class took over the that, when they got an upgrade that Sleipner did not get!

Very nice. I've always been struck by this neat little corvette since I was a boy and there was a great close-up picture of her in a book, which I've still got. She looks a little top heavy but then she's packing a punch for her size.

Yes, a very attractive little ship, and great to see it represented at last :D . My only query so far is with the screws: they just seem a little small?

Allways had a liking to these, and as Bill said, the screws do seem too small.
Also I would suggest doing a new 3"/50 mounting as it was a single, as was the 40mm mounting aft.
I also wonder as to the difference between the two versions - to me they look the same :( apart from the caption that says 1988.

That's because that's how they looked in 1988 but not how they looked when they were build

during the update it got some new radars and Terne III MK8 ASW on the aft deck. But for some reason did not get a new sonar. It was also used as training ship after the update, possibly as a training ship for new crews to the Oslo-class, as they have roughly the same equipment.

And for the cannon, yes I'll draw it. 76 mm (3 in) Bofors gun TAK 76
