Very good rendition olekit 24. You seem to have nailed it. The only thing, in fact, that I can "gripe" about is your file-namn: it should be ACR, not AC. (Oh, maybe the props could have a do-over, so they match the rest!) |

Very nice work and another very welcome Spanish addition. |

Excellent work. A handsome ship. The shading on the bow looks a bit strange, though. If your unsure, best not to shade it. Regarding the file name, it should be CA for the purposes of the database. AC is collier. |

CA - Cruiser Armoured?
Yes, I know it may seem odd but we had to make some compromises in order to have a workable filing system (HMS Victory is categorized as BB). I've added the file name convention to my signature so if you ever have any doubts just cross check this list.

These aren't photos, they're artwork of the ship. But I'll leave it to others more skilled on the period to comment on that.Keep the drawings coming! |

Actually Charybdis, I may be wrong, but the designation "ACR" for armo(-u)red cruiser should be preferred to distinguish them from the later, and much different (in concept) heavy cruiser. |

When we re-organized the archieve a couple of years ago, we omitted the "ACR" designation alltogether and summarized them under 'CA', see the list here. I think one of the reasons was to easier find the ships under the letter 'C' for cruiser and to not mistake them for auxiliaries... BTW, nice drawing, but there seem to be a few black pixels missing in the bilge keel. |
