Great Britain - PB P23 1916
[ img ]

The P class, nominally described as "patrol boats", was in effect a class of coastal sloops. Twenty-four ships to this design were ordered in May 1915 (numbered P.11 to P.34) and another thirty between February and June 1916 (numbered P.35 to P.64) under the Emergency War Programmefor the Royal Navy in the First World War.

I wouldn't call it an ugly ship, it looks very lovely, in my opinion.

Excellent work as usual, on a weird-looking if not positively ugly ship!

I second that, there is some strange beauty in these sort of vessels. And the drawing is magnificent and well waited, that era RN smaller combatants are still quite poorly presented in the bucket.
