The Bacolod City-class Logistics Support Vessel is based on a helicopter-capable version of the US Army's General Frank S. Besson, Jr. class Logistics Support Vessel. More info on this ship: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacolod_Ci ... ort_vessel |

At this stage it's hard to say much, but it looks a decent beginning. |

Cool. I know that someone else had started on this years ago, but I think they are gone now, and it was never finished so it's good to see again. Are you also going to show the class as they look in USN service?
Are you sure that The hull looks like that!? You van only Draw The hull if you have accurate reference for it. That's how the hull looks. The Besson class is a giant LCU in some ways.

Yes, I based the hull on this drawing from this drawing of a variant of the Frank S. Besson class:

The Besson class is a giant LCU in some ways.(Image from http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/lsv/) I am not sure if I could do the US Army versions of this ship. I am a busy college student studying for upcoming classes. Edit: A good picture of the stern section with the helicopter deck of the BRP Bacolod City (LC-550) (Image linked from http://www.timawa.net/forum/index.php?topic=12768.15) |

I would be periodically updating the drawing on the first post until I finally finish it. It may take some more time before I finish this ship since I am quite busy nowadays. |

Back to work after about 3 months of inactivity! BTW, someone in the old Shipbucket forum has drawn a variant of the Frank S. Besson-class LSV. The variant drawn is similar to the Bacolod City-class, which is the variant I am drawing. |

I have already finished this drawing. I updated the image on the first post to the finished drawing. Edit: fixed the crediting. |

Looks ok, though I'm unsure if the mast shouldn't extend bit more upwards, and I'd add "railing-like" barriers around the helipad. (and perhaps look to add some more small details, but that's just my humble opinion) |
