I would post this in the wonderful small ships thread but it's height, not too mention its fame kind of demands otherwise. Started this last night and have worked from the keel up and the rigging down, as part of getting my eye in for the daunting job of the HMCS Nelson and Victoria. Anyway, I hope what I have so far is up to scratch. :P (And yes, Thiel I took your good advice)

Great start so far! *Cringes at the thought of doing the rigging for HMS Nelson*

Thanks, yeah, unlike the Endeavour, who's rigging is reasonably well documented and unchanged though time, the Nelson went through at least four changes and after the first, little evidence exists asides from a few photographs

Very well done Rodondo. It is a masterpiece, and the thought of making the rigging *shudders inwardly* ...

Lovely! She was on my worklist, but I'll scratch that as she's definately in capable hands. :)
BTW, Cook loved this ship so much that he requested colliers on all subsequent voyages.
