I've had some projects almost finished, and indeed I found one ready to post. She's the Town class HMS Newcastle, based upon Hood's superlative HMS Birmingham. Unfortunately, I can't fine the Birmingham on the archive, so I hope Hood will check this Here is the Newcastle: Apart from various 'takes' on the Town's; I've got the Superb/Swiftsure (with the RCN version) on the slips, plus the Neptune. I'll keep beavering away on these unless anyone drags me away |

It is time to redraw the 40mm twin as it is grossly oversized(larder than the 4 inch twin). Nearly all small AA mountings (German, british/american 20mm, 37mm, 40mm) have originally been drawn much to large. This has been corrected for many of them but not on most ship drawings. |

Another cracker from Bill. I'll check on the missing Town. I might update it with newer parts before I repost it for upload. |

Thanks Guys; and, I'll remove the Newcastle from this current upload to incorporate your changes Graham; that way I'll be able to post a few together next upload. I'm at a loss to know why your Birmingham was never uploaded Hood, as it was the original and the template for my version. It might be worth all of us checking carefully to see that our previous drawings are on the archive; it may be they were not submitted, or missed off somehow. |
