Interesting looking ship, looks like the descendant of the WW2 era sub chasers with that sheer on the bow and compact superstructure. Similar role I'm assuming by that armament fit but I can't say for sure as anything post 1945 in naval weaponry eludes me.

Denodon I believe her and her sister Leeds castle were originally designed for fishery protection duties and to patrol the north sea oil platforms.Another fine drawing Gunship.

Is there any difference between this one and the Leeds Castle or at least modifications for the Falklands duty?

I've been waiting for this one for some time, it fills a gap in the postwar RN collection. There were a few armed proposals for export too.

If you're going to smack a pennant number on her, why not ad her name to the text?
Great Britain, Castle Class
P265 HMS Dumbarton Castle
(Gunship)

Just in case there's any differences between the two ships, however minor they might be.
