Well technically she was either a seaplane carrier or seaplane tender, depending on your definition.
Nice drawing though, but I'd cut back a little on the shading.

Not exactly an "aircraft carrier" indeed, but a nice drawing. :)

...and I "reconvert" her back to her original protected cruiser config! Otherwise an excellent drawing.

Nice work.
I concur on the need to tone the shading down a touch, esp around the casemates. Nice to see this pioneering step. It would be nice to see an orginal version too.

Nice work Fred. This little ship was a pioneer in the fact of being the first aviation capable ship, on the high seas (if the Channel can be termed high seas that is).
By the way Fred I might find an underwater hull for this ship.

Novice, I'm afraid you're not quite right in your statement. The very first high-seas capable ship to carry aviation was the Russian ACR Rossiya, which operated a set of three hydrogen balloons, during the months of April-May, 1904, during the Russo-Japanese War, 1904-05. They were operated with qualified success, but it was discontinued after May 21, when the lines unexpectedly snapped.
I know these were not independently operable, but I do believe they qualify for inclusion in the aviation category!

Fred you have got a bit of hull outline missing just under the forward gun.

Bezzo you are right, but by aviation I meant heavier than air, or as commonly known aircraft.
ANyway Fred after searching I couldn't find the underwater hull, so maybe one other member here can supply it.
