I'm starting out with a long line of planned Canadian Coast Guard Ships. Starting off is the CCGS Louis S. St-Laurent in her present configuration. This is the ship that the CCGS John G. Diefenbaker (if built) is intended to replace. Other than the CCGS Terry Fox (Thanks to Lazer_One), this ship is the only other heavy icebreaker in the Canadian Government Fleet.

I am planning on drawing an 'as built' version of the Louis S. St-Laurent before moving on to other ships.

Very nice one sailor 82, but the Maple Leaf on the funnel looks a bit awkward. you can find a better one Here

Made some minor changes to the first drawing.

Below is the Louis S. St-Laurent prior to her 1988 mid-life upgrade.

Thanks for your comments gents!

@Novice - getting the maple leaf just right is getting to be real challenge.

I know the one on the link mentioned is not perfect, but is the best I could find IMHO.
Anyway lovely drawings and I believe this thread is going to be a successful one.
