Here is what i'm currently working on, A Charleston class amphibious cargo ship.
it's still on its early stages. but i like posting my projects early on to recieve feedback.

What heli was used on this? i can't find any ref or photos to this.
And what radar is on top of the mast? can't find any info on this either...

The US Navy has used the CH-46 for VERTREP (Vertical
Replenishment, or supply movement by helicopter) for the
last 35 - 40 years. I don't think that this class of ships was
in service before that.

Top radar is almost certainly SPS-10. Helo-wise, with no hangar I'm not sure she'd have carried a helo in service.

It looks like odd in your reference line drawing.
Same in the case by thiels LST-1179 reference line drawing.

her stern is a bit wrong. it has that type of cruiser stern some are bit flat and round in the same time. so you need a line that shows that.
