Here we go, after a while... A "semiforced" joint project with Golly. :) Shading and finishing by himself.
This one is our Navy's newest vessel to come and in sea trials at the moment, therefore in real designs section. Katanpää-class minehunters includes three ships: Katanpää, Purunpää and Vahterpää.
There are few speculative details but also very poor references as well; as always when talking about FN vessels... For example the underwater hull: you can be sure of it only by diving. :D

40 is Katanpää, 41 should be Purunpää and the latest Vahterpää should be the 42 shown in the link.

what is that gun turret? IIRC, it is not on any parts sheets......

Looks really good, if little bit of "darkish"...atleast on my screen, but sometimes the color of the ship transfers really poorly on the drawing of the ship.
the 40mm/70 looks as it should, no proplems there.

The new eloctropowered bofors 40mm mount also used on the Swedish Gävle FFL and Koster MCMs.

Clearly visible aft on HSwMS Sundsvall and in fornt of the bridge on Koster, just behind the Sundsvall.
