Post subject:  Fishing vessels
Not all fishing vessels are small and ugly (no offense) boats, some of them are quite large and even pretty. That's why I have an urge to draw one once in a while :D
If you ever decide to give some fishing vessel a try, please feel free to post it here in this thread. As for me I can't say I'm planning on drawing more of them but there's certainly a chance ;)

I've already made a tuna seiner before. And here is a German trawler that might not be particularly beautiful but still is sort of nice-looking IMO.

Really nice, one of the prettiest boats of this fall.

Do you happen to know this website? Migth give you more to work on with.

You know the TV show "Deadly Catch", from Discovery Channel.

I'd really like to see those ships designed (Cornelia Marie, Time Bandit, Northwestern ...) ;)

WhyMe, this is a superb drawing of an attractive ship; and IMHO all fishing ships/boats are worthy :) I also hope to find something to contribute to this excellent thread.

As a matter of fact I've came across it just the other day. Unfortunately the plans they have are too low in resolution but as a source of inspiration (and technical data on large fishing vessels) it certainly is the place to go.
