As I am about 90-95% done with this one, I thought I'd stick it on here now. I'll hopefully finish it over the weekend! By no means the prettiest ship of the Royal Navy, hope you all like anyway... |

It's like that story about the Finnish fleet visit at Portsmouth, in 1937 to King George VI:s Coronation, when one British observer, rather humorously remarked on the Finnish coast defence ship Väinämöinen: "The Finns must possess a very large and powerful navy, since even their lighthouse ships are armed with 10-in guns!" - Well, the Brits must've been awfully concerned about the safety of the routing of their Persian oil, since their tankers were armed with 16-in guns! |

I've always kinda liked this class, actually. The location of C turret purplexed me a bit, but since ships rarely, if ever, fire straight ahead I guess it doesn't matter. |

Yeah... Anyways, finaly! ... is propably summing up all the feelings among us. Getting Nelson and Rodney finaly into bucket is indeed like christmass coming too early. Only thing bothering me are those AA guns... the mounts are vastly obsolete by drawing vice. Perhaps someone can get up proper arrention of them? (perhaps direct me bit of correct direction and I could try to do them myself if no one objects?) |
