The Tachibana class were a Japanese equivalent to the American Escort Destroyers, or RN Hunt class. They were the second class of escorts, the first being the Momi class. The Tachibana had simpler hull form, with almost no curves, so that they could be built quickly and cheaply.
Armament was 3 5"/40 DP gun (one twin, aft, and one single foreward) and 24 25mm AA guns, and 4 24" TT, and of course depth-charges.
This ship, the Nashi, was sunk by USN aircraft, from TF38, and was raised post-war and refitted as radar trials ship DE-261 Wakabe (forthcoming)
