Trying My hand at a three island steamer. I wanted to get you guy's opinions before proceeding.

It is very important to get the hull properly get if you do not do it as you will struggle with the rest of the drawing.

ships of that era will never have a hull that is completely straight lines which ships today. It's about building technology. get at the time was not only to take a plasma torch and cut the metal.

So the shape of the ships of that era will look roughly like this (NOTE: I do not know how SS SpringWell looks like):
