a quite unknown KM icebreaker: the Pollux. Pollux was the name reserved for the sister unit of Castor (2°) but she was never built. Another unit was made by KM Werft in Kiel and launched at the end of 1943. Rodondo: why? Have you taken a closer look at the weather conditions in the Baltic? I'm from the Swedish city of Malmö, in South sweden, and we've experienced some terrible, iced-over winters.... and that's only some 50-60 miles from the German baltic coast! |

there are really few infos about.I made my drawing following the Groener but even there are missed infos about guns. |

Rodondo: why? Have you taken a closer look at the weather conditions in the Baltic?
I know of those conditions, I have a Swedish relative (however I have never seen snow!) I was presuming that the fleet operated mainly out of the Northsea and the Baltic sea had only a few warships upon it.

Most of the German navy is based in the Baltic sea. |
