Beautiful ship Bill,so full of character.She certainly got about, even made it to Normandy landings.

This is a funny little ship. I laughed when I saw it's planes, I don't know why.

Looks great. I love the cables to the mast and the cranes. I didn't laugh at all, in awe at complex drawing.

Yes, she certainly was an interesting ship, for many reasons, one of which was that she was the first warship designed and built in Australia until well after WWII.

Here she was as The Hellenic Prince, converted to an emmigrant ship; and I can't imagine how conditions were on board!

Hellenic Prince, was used pst-war in carrying people from Greece to Australia.

Yup; and I beleive there is a web site now where emmigrants and their descendents can trace which ship they arrived on and who else was on it. We were lucky, we flew BOAC Comet. I'm tempted to include the Hellenic Prince, but she was such an ugly looking tub.
