It's not quite finished yet, a couple of details need finishing off, and I will be adding flags at some point. I'm finished for today though and thought I'd let y'all see the drawing. I hope I have done the ship justice... |

I'd give some serious attention to those propellers... Other than that its a jaw-dropping work of art. |

those props are from the andrew arthur drawing, IIRC. keep in mind that (especially for the underwater hull) that isn't an perfect source, check others as well. I am also wondering about the asymetric rigging. other then that, I can say already: great work, but she will need a bit more work to be perfect (as the dreadnought should be) |

Yes, the underwater hull is pretty much wrong. I have good reference drawings for the above-water bit though. I just stuck the bottom on to 'get a feel' for the drawing so far. I'll have another hunt for underwater hull drawings tomorrow (unless anyone has good refs I could borrow) and probably start again from scratch. And yes, the props look a bit shit right now! |

Nice one Jabba you are a brave man taking that one on.You could probably get a Collingwood and a Billyruffian out of that too. |

these might be usefull. the best ones I had on my pc (or better said, the ones I could find fast) the last one has the best underwater hull, I think. |

Excellent And it is hard to beleive that this warship has never been represented here (see folks, there is still a rich seam to be mined ) |
