This is my most ambitious drawing so far. I have also never attempted to a draw a ship from this era. Although it is nearly finished (apart from the underwater hull, for which I am still seeking references) I still have lots of details to do, like the rigging, shading, and details on the deck.

On my references, horizontal hull plating lines are clearly visible. I do not know whether to include these and am not sure if it will improve or reduce the quality of the drawing. Any thoughts?

I though I'd post this to get some feedback, as I have enjoyed researching and drawing the Invincible and would like to try my hand at other WWI era warships. How am I doing? :)

Exceedingly good :) and It is hard to find anything to querie. I would have shown darker shade on the rear of the front turret (to offset the light on the front) then same for all forward facing turrets, and reverse this for aft facing turrets; but that is just my personal preference :)

Using R. A. Burt's book on the British Battleships (1905-1919) would be the best reference both for the hull and armorplates as well as for the correct underwater hull.

She looks great :D Again, another quibble: the boot topping is stepped, but I thought we applied it in a straight line? That apart, a real joy to see actual drawings being posted.
