I was planning to do this one for a long time, but I didn't think it would be this much work! but well, in the end it was worth it.....

I know form follows function, but I'm always surprised by how similar lightships are, no matter who build them.

well, that's logical in most ways. I mean... you want that lighttower on the center of your ship, you want an large bow and stern to go throught waves, you'll need masts and all for radio equipment, and you need at least one anchor....

Well I suppose it's a proven design and easier to make, why bother breaking from the norm? Not much point at all. Great drawing though, a U/W hull coming soon

Ah... makes sense, but I suppose it would be a quite full hull with only a rudder?

Very nice, ace, but I think that the letters on the side may be of somewhat uneven thickness. Maybe just to have another 'proof-reading' on those? ;) 8-)

they are indeed uneven, but that was on purpose, bezo. they follow the shape of the hull very slightly, and at the end they look a bit smaller because of this (they might even be smaller)
I agree it looks a bit weird in pixels, but this is the best I could represent reality ;)
