My apologies for bringing back a blast from the past with this topic, but i found it on my computer and needed to finish it after a long time working at uni. i plan to become more acitve in the community now all the anti-alias has been removed and i feel she is done now. |

Nicely done, but railings are wrong, your name appears in brown insread of black (at least on my monitor) |

name is corrected, couldnt see it as i was using brown elsewhere and must of forgotten to switch. also, how can the railings be improved? |

Isn't it supposed to go to the "Never built" forum? I guess you used the Ulstein pdf on this hull for reference and that's the reason why the cranes are so bland. Also there's still some AA on the stern and overall it seems to lack outlining, shading and detailing. Not bad for a start but there's still much work to do. |

Railings should be done exactly like the ones on the parts sheet, even if those don't really match the real thing. This is one of the concessions we have to make to standardization and clarity, rather than absolute accuracy. Imagine a railing with four or five cables between posts - each one is a pixel, and you end up with a thick gray blob. Not good.
