Something quite different from the usual ships posted here

Built in Italy for Argentina, as one of three sisterships, and after stranding in 1962 was scrapped in 1970. The ship was a combination Passengers/cargo ship and could carry 116 passengers and was 11143 GRT.

Nice Drawing !!!

I like no military ships :D . Colosseum could make a topic for them. It will give a lot of possibilities ...

What's this weird shading at the bow and stern?

Also, merchant ships can be posted in Real Designs.

That's from people not listening to you when you talk about non-Shipbucket style shading. Just like how people haven't listened to Miho or Golly about not commenting in the Planebucket thread despite being told at least three times now.

O.K shading will be fixed.
Any way it is the Real Designs place, isn't it?
I meant that merchant ships are so few and rare in Shipbucket.
I've edited some of the shading issues and drawing was replaced. BTW all merchant ships allready in the main site have shading in bows and stern, which is quite similar to that above.

Well they shouldn't, and that's just a result of me not having the time to go through and check each drawing before uploading, which is usually the job of the ARTIST not to do it out of shipbucket style...

there simply isen't and shouldnt be any proplem in shading. only round surface in superstructure and mast needs it and starting to add them to shipbucket has been the only "rule" change during my time. This was discussed with MConrads way back ago and shouldn't need to be twisted from barbwire everytime to every guy.
Actuall hull curvings and exceptions from standard way has never belonged to the mentioned cases so you need to get rid of them in the upper works, and mark them with darker lining in the underwater. Also, use the yellow for propellors instead of bronze

Other "mistakes" are mainly the ventilation pipes that looks rather irregular, and assymetric, despite I bet they were just bended tubes in the reall ship. Adjusting them to look more symmetric would improve this drawing considerably. Also, despite what the source drawing says, ALWAYS use the railing from the equipment charts. Railings are immpossible to show accurately in our scale so the trick in shipbucket lies in making uniform look to them in all ships and in all occasions. They are just to show which parts of the decks are covered by rails, not to present the rails one by one. Thus to make sure we dont look like some trashpin bucket, we need to keep them standardised.

Ship changed, as Golly suggested, including shading, railings and propeller color.

If you refresh you'll see it as modified to the Shipbucket standard (I hope)
