95% done. only some detailing in the masts and rigging to be done. I thought I post it here already, in case somebody has comments......?

Ah yes, the EENDRACHT! Did two cruises on her in the 90s, she is a great sail training ship! Fast and far more comfortable than many other sail trainers. She stranded at Newhaven(?) once, but luckily she was saved.

Shame she's such an ugly tub though. (Note: I'm a traditionalist when it comes to sailing ships.)

Yes, she looks kind of squat and squarish, not like the schooners and windjammers of old. On one of my EENDRACHT trips, I was fortunate enough to exchange for a day with the SEDOV. I went all the way up in the yards, amazing!

I think you should use a slightly darker blue than what you're using now.

for pure realism: yes. for showing the 'look' of the ship best: no. I will sleep a night before changing anything.... any other opinions (about this or other points)

mitch, WTH!? that comment was unnecesary, as I said I had to think about it. no decision made yet. and now I have made the decision to indeed darken the hull a bit. so why?
