I will make this brief because A. I have not slept in 24 hours, and B. most should at least know a bit of history on this one, often referred to (rather annoyingly at least to me) as Asias Titanic, this Small Japanese Built Passenger Ferry Was Rammed by a Tanker named MT Vector and Caught fire, estimates range from 2000-4000 Died as a result and only 25 from the Dona Paz survived comparing this to Titanic honestly seems a bit "gross" to me but IDK anyway, enough rambling as built for RKK Line of Okinawa, Japan in 1963: As sold to Sulpicio Lines as one of its first "large" ships in 1976, named after the companies owner "Don Sulpicio Go": a Minor Refit Occurred less than a year later which changed the livery somewhat: in 1978 she was Rebuilt with a new stern Deckhouse and a rather odd Livery, though this did not last as later that year she caught fire and was declared a total loss: despite this...in 1981 she re-entered service as "Dona Paz", noteably her superstructure was totally rebuilt, and so were her interiors, this is (roughly) how she stayed until her horrible fate in 1987: after this I will probably try an attempt to re-create the MT Vector as well, but all that exists are some wrecksite photos and a model made for the court trials and later re-used for a documentary for National Geographic EDIT: Got the date wrong, 1981 not 1980 anyways...Goodnight or day or whatever time it is for you |
