Post subject:  HMS Agincourt and Erin: Seized Ships

Originally designed for the Brazilian navy, she was sold to the Ottoman navy after Brazil ran out of funds to continue construction. Renamed Sultan Osman I after the founder of the Osman dynasty which founded the empire. The ship as well as the Turkish crew were about to conduct sea trails when WW1 broke out and the ship was seized by the Royal Navy and pressed into service as HMS Agincourt.
