Hi,

so while i was looking a bit deeper into the Scharnhorst-class design proposals, I couldn't help but notice that my earlier drawings of Scharnhorst were quite dated and full of mistakes.
Considering that these drawings were still heavily based on my very first SB-drawings from 2013, it really came as no surpirse...

So one thing led to another and I've redrawn the damn thing...


Lets start with Scharnhorst as commissioned on 7th January 1939:

Thanks BB! Those were pure pain to do...

@Mike:
According to my sources, no seaplanes were carried on her when commissioned.
The first planes of Bordfliegerkommando 1 / 196 were stationed aboard beginning in August '39.

I might not do ALL versions, but some of the more interesting ones for sure. Not sure if Ill do the Cerberus version this time, because the mottled & beat up camo doesnt come off right in SB.

if we had drawing of the month this would win hands down.
Too much quality here to say anything other than "great!" and if you are redoing the whole series then we are in for a treat.
