OMG, Karle, you are drawing truly great ships. Why don't you pay some respect and invest a bit more time into research of the subject?
It's not a speed-tracing competition here and you trying to match productivity of certain other SB members is not going to do any good. Just take your time and study the ships you draw; pay more attention to the details. Don't get me wrong, your drawings are fine. But they can (and should) be SO MUCH better if you try a little harder.

Here's a helpful link for ya: http://www.bb35library.usstexasbb35.com - huge amount of useful data.
Here's an ultimate reference to USN guns: http://www.hnsa.org/doc/guncat/ (many of them have been drawn and can be found in the USN Parts thread.
Here's something else:

Took me 10 minutes to figure out what it was and find a good source to draw it.
Also check those double-pixel black lines on the front funnel and the aft mast.
And, once again, pay attention to details, they are the key to a good drawing. Anyone can trace a plan, but not everyone can produce a good-looking drawing.

Karle, I think the advices from WhyMe are worth to follow up. I also think you draw handsome vessels but I can't slip the feeling that something is missing - some detailing :?

What sort of detailing are we talking about? I have all the shading that`s required, and I have added practicly everything that is visible on the line drawings.
