According to my calculation base on the ship plan from that period:
[ img ]

HMS Benbow's Beam is 68ft 6 in -> 137.2pix
That meant the ship Length OA = 714pix -> 357ft
As for control, I used the Draught 27ft 3 in ->55pix

That meant HMS Camperdown is 362ft is she is 5ft longer than Benbow.

Is my calculation correct?

According to Wikipedia HMS Camperdown's particulars are
Class & type: Admiral-class battleship
Displacement: 10,600 long tons (10,800 t)
Length: 330 ft (100 m)
Beam: 68 ft 6 in (20.88 m)
Draught: 27 ft 3 in (8.31 m) maximum
Installed power:

7,500 ihp (5,600 kW) (normal)
11,500 ihp (8,600 kW) (forced draught)

Propulsion:

2 × Maudslay compound inverted steam engines
2 × screws

Speed: 17.1 kn (19.7 mph; 31.7 km/h) (forced draught)
Complement: 530
Armament:

4 × BL 13.5 in (340 mm) guns
4 × BL 6 in (150 mm) guns
12 × QF 6-pounder Nordenfelt guns
10 × 3-pounder quick-firing guns
5 × above-water torpedo tubes

Armour:

Belt: 18 in (46 cm) (upper strake); 8 in (20 cm) (lower strake)
Bulkheads: 7–16 in (178–406 mm)
Barbettes: 10–11.5 in (25–29 cm)
Conning Tower: 2–12 in (5.1–30.5 cm)
Battery Screens: 6 in (15 cm)
Deck: 2.5–3 in (6.4–7.6 cm) (upper); 2.5 in (6.4 cm) (lower)
She was known as a Barbette type battleship, one of the Admiral class, which also consisted of HMS Benbow, HMS Rodney, HMS Howe and HMS Anson.

Problem is that the length is for PP:

I'll have a look in my Conway 1865-1905 to confirm the length (assuming its not pp in there too!)

Most probably it is PP. Contrary to what DP posted, the PP definition is: Length between perpendiculars (lbp): The distance measured along the summer load water plane from fore to aft perpendicular is known as length between perpendiculars.
The fore perpendicular is where the summer load line intersects the fore side of the stem. The aft perpendicular is usually measured at the rudder post, as explained below.

I think the way DP scaled the drawing from the beam to get the length was as good a way of getting the length calculation right as any other. One of the uses of a decent plan/side view if you are unsure of oa/pp lengths, but have the beam.

I do not question DP method of scaling his drawing. His drawings are excellent.
