In the late 1940's US Coast Guard has acquired 18 of the Barnegat class ships from US Navy forming the Casco class.
Here's WAVP-384 Cook Inlet soon after the transfer and some modifications.

WhyMe do you have time to mode here in to the Norwegian one. would be nice. Well, I'm planning on drawing pretty much all known modifications of this class. When? Who knows... It takes quite a lot of time and effort to figure out all the details. I've spent about a year researching before I made the first drawing; another year later I'm still not even half-way through with this project. But let me assure you, I keep working on it as my time allows (which is not much at all lately) and I will let you know if I ever give up.Meanwhile, I've updated the first post with the list of completed drawings and those I want to draw at some point. |
