Very nice work Heuhen,continue with the Hurtigruten vessels.If you read some pages back,were the link for all therse ships posted,I wrote about my favorite vessels from this series,but I like them all.

Amazing! By the way, as far as I know, the LEDA was not employed on the Hurtigruten. She sailed between Bergen and Newcastle. But, I could be wrong of course. Maybe she did some seasonal duties on the Hurtigruten, I'm not sure.

you're right, she did just Bergen Newcastle, and sometimes to other trips abroad.

did you know that:
she could do 24 knots
She was equipped with a stabilizer.
She could in 2-3 hours be refurbished as a troop transport.

Yes, definitely cool ship! It's also interesting to see how large she was compared to the Hurtigruten ships.
I will have a look to see if I can get you some pics/drawings of her later appearance as STAR OF VENICE. She looked quite different under that name!

I saw them, she became ugly when they rebuilt her.
