Alex nice one, but the Kandelfels was never painted like that. At the outbreak of WW2 (7/9/1939 to be exact) the ship was requisitioned by the German navy (Kreigsmarine) to be converted as a commerce raider Pinguin her name was officially changed to HSK 5/schiff 33 on 6/2/1940, after she has completed her conversion and was fully armed and ready.
She was sunk by HMS Cornwall on 8/5/1941 after she manged to sink some 136,000 grt of allied shipping (about 28 ships). Her more known sistership Goldenfels HSK 2/schiff16 Atlantis was sunk by HMS Devonshire on 22/11/1941 after sinking some 145,000grt of allied shipping (about 22 ships) and capturing 6 more as prizes.
