well done David, the drawing is looking good too.

I will edit my post above so that the drawing no longer shows.

After all, it is your privilege to show your work

Thank you and all the other folks who helped me with Photobucket.

Just a by the by, when I view my Dropbox folder, I have a "Private" folder, but there is no Globe displayed, merely a snippet of the files inside. Is something wrong with my folder--like not being enabled? Dropbox has permission to pass through the fire wall and all of the drawings are synched.

The trick with Dropbox is in what is shown in the text pasted between the img tags. If it has https:\www.dropbox.com\(whatever) the image wont show. If that txt "www.dropbox.com is altered to "dl.dropboxusercontent.com" the image shows up fine.

It took me awhile to figure it out. My partner has the old version on her pute, and it was only by comparing the two that I found out what was going wrong with displaying the drawing on my pute with the new version loaded.

Its all good fun and as long as the drawing shows up so we can bask in its glory, what else matters....

Looking very good.
I would strongly urge you to use the same turrets I previously used on my Royal Oak and the Repulse and Renown before. I know Heuhen drew these new ones based on those aboard Queen Elizabeth, but the rangefinders do not match the Great War era ones. The rangefinders and details on the turrets I've used are much more accurate and from the picture monty posted, the turrets I've used seem a much closer match. I'm thinking of revising these turrets again to reflect this (or offering more mix 'n' match options). For some reason the 15in turrets have given us a lot of trouble, and that's probably because of the mods done over time to these turrets which had long lives, not to mention those refurbished for Vanguard.

The turrets have been changed.

Now for boats  What do I use for the period? I've got some ideas. ;)

Yes as hood say, the range finders on the turrets are different, some had an wing under, the range finder, some not, some had a bigger range finder, etc. When I drew that turret I could have made 20 different version, every ship had there own style, but I chose to draw the two most ... Known ships turrets, and they are in the part sheet.

Superb drawing David, you have done the old girl proud. Just a couple of little nits. There seems to be a few stray pixels around the screws and under the platform on the main mast. There is a few more but I don't wan't to sound like a pedantic arse PM me. I only ever look at drawings that I really like that close. It's also a good way of picking up new hints and tips. :P
