Hahah...no I don't mind at all! Everybody here calls me that, so no probs, mate. I did save it, but now I shall most eagerly await your refurbished version. It's worth the wait, since you've truly done a smart, cracking job with them! I'm sure their ghost crews, in the Mariana's, Surigao Straits, Makassar, and those that survived the war but are now passed, are all nodding their Heavenly approval!

Of the four Myokos, Nachi's wreck has been searched for, but tragically seems to have been salvaged and scrapped at an unknown date. Ashigara's wreck has been heavily salvaged, and several divers have died on her over the years, mainly due to the poor visibility where she lies. (At times about as clear as looking into a cup of milk coffee.) Haguro was found in 2003 and has been thoroughly surveyed.

I have progressed and drawn the Type 3 model 1 guns, but Bezo, i humbly apologize because i messed up things at an incommensurable level; i have found other sources and inconfutable pothographic evidence that shows all the Myokos having already in 1937 the Tpe 3 model 2. wich where therefore fitted in 1936, so i was right wen i tought i was wrong and the 1937 Ashigara drawing is correct the way it looks
Still, even if i do not want to use it in my defense (whe learn how to do it right by reflecting on our errors after all) i might note that when it comes to rearm their cruisers the Japanese made an immense mess, for example Aoba initially retained the old turrets when the new guns where fitted; the Furutakas barrels where instead only rebored during the thirties, and new guns and turrets where fitted only in 1940 when the refit changed her armament from 6 singles to three twins.

To beg for your pardon ( ) i present a WIP for the 1930 version of IJN Haguro:

Completed both Haguro in 1930 and Nachi in 1928.

Perhaps add a seaplane onto those catapults?

That's the idea, but Nakajima E2N1 are not around, i must drawn them first and i found out that i suck with shipbucket scale planes (i tried with the Yokosuka K5Y for IJN Shimane Maru but well, better not talk about the results  :( )

Those seaplane catapults are badly in need of an update... believe they came from the original drawing of the Agano class (a terrible, terrible drawing). Surely you possess the skills to give them a redraw. ;)

Done, do they look better now?
I have modded Haguro and Nachi above, upgrades to the other Myokos will come too soon.

edit: updated all the drawings in the first page with the new catapults.

Beautiful drawings!

So can we expect the Agano-class to get this treatment as well from our resident IJN master artist? ;)
