Great drawings of not so well known ships. That is really a very good contribution to the bucket. Very interesting and informative.

Hello Yqueleden!

You keep delivering top quality, congrats!

I'd love to see you move on to the 20th century (Bustamante and Lazaga).

Greetings
GD

Torpedo boat Barceló

The Barceló (named after the Spanish admiral of the eighteenth century, inventor of small gunboat) was the fourth torpedo boat of 1884 program and purchased to Normad, a French shipyard. Its rounded deck made it seem semi-submersible. She was hot and cramped, and was equipped with three masts, rigs and sails that were used in favorable conditions. Commisioned in 1885, in 1898 was assigned for defence of the Cádiz naval base. In 1905 was renamed Torpedero número 14, and in 1911 was sold.

Another very nice addition.
The hull shading might be slightly overdone for SB standards, but it does show the curvature quite well.

you can show the shape with correct shading too, so i would require it before this comes uploadable. Otherwise nice work

I had used a shadowing with six shades to indicate the rounded shape of the cover, but I already did it with five.

I have also solved a mistake in the name.

Thanks.

You're doing a fantastic job with these obscure but nonetheless attractive ships, congratulations!
I think the masts are a tiny bit coarse, but they're in style. I hope you keep going for a long long while.
