Here are the re-drawings. I have set both versions in one template so everyone
can see the differences of them.

This is looking good Hawkeye :) One thing: you've got the same colour on both the upper and lower hull; the custom is to have the upper hull a lighter shade; but it may be that you're using that particular shade on both. Maybe compare with other USN ships to get a match?

Thanks PB. I change the colours and delete the Weapon Alfa. Have totally forgotten it.

The upper hull with a lighter shade now.
The difference is not to much.

All the shades at some places sould be removed or drawn in a other way, like a 3 pixel hangover platform and 1 pix shade as example. You might love to remove that awefull Prop too. If you don't understand what I mean I hope other members will add a beter English comment..

I got a question, according to Navsource, the Taussig was retired in 1972 and scrapped in 1973. Is the FRAM conversion an never built or are the years off?

Have changed the shading.
I have take a look on a lot of US Navy ships here, especiallly destroyers and frigates
and the most of them have the famous most ugly screw of SB!!
I have find this one now. Better??
I have find the GFCS Mk 63 and have changed the older ones 'Cause they were to big
and so out of scale.
I have changed the colour of the little cranes for reloading the torpedo tubes
'Cause they were to dark.

Ohps...
Radagast477 is right.
She was stricken from the Navy register on 1 July 1972, and sold for scrap 15 June 1973.
1965
Sorry, I fix it.
