Beautiful Ship

During WW2 the Argentinian merchant marine was modernised by using interned ships, which were visiting Argentina at the time. Many Danish and Norwegian ships were interned when these countries fell to Germany. One such ship was the former Danish ship Bretagne, which was interned at Buenos Aires. Renamed Rio Iguazu she was placed under the government controlled company Flota Mercante del Estado, later the company was Empresa Lineas Maritima Argentina (ElMA). After the war the ship continued in Argentinian Service till scrapped in 1975

Russian cruise ship Knyaz Vladimir, the only russian cruise ship in Black Sea:

And brief historical sights of Knyaz Vladimir, which were build as R-Ro cruiseferry Eagle in 1971:



Then was sold and renamed as The Azur in 1975:



Then again sold and rebuild in 1989:



Then rebuilded, refurbished and once again sold and renamed as Royal Iris in 2004:
