Well...they where all outdated by 1982. There where some efforts done to convert the Östergötlands to minelayers... But the swedish naval doctrine, economy and politians killed them finally, large warships is still traumatic for especially swedish politians. The C-in-C of the RSwN had some drawings made for a missile conversion with a Terrier in Dutch style refit in the mid 1960s for the CLs.

An update on the HMS Göta Lejon, with a few, but important tweaks and adjustments made to the superstructure, and I finally got the lower hull painted red! No, it's not in camouflage yet, but will do that version, as well as the Chilean Almirante Latorre eventually!

That darker red is too dark compared to the rest...

I agree. The contrast is too great. Both dark and too light.
