I look at the detail you pixel artists manage to achieve in SB scale when drawing Sailing Ships, and I am simply amazed. I wish I had the skills and patience to do what you do. Please keep doing it. |

Wonderful work Rodondo, I have actually been aboard the Polly Woodside and I am glad that you brought her to Shipbucket. |

They are all beautiful--I'm especially partial Baltimore Clippers and so I have a soft-spot for Ann McKim. |

Very nice, Craig! However a couple of remarks: the mizzen sail should have its yard am extended forward of the mast, since it wasn't til around 1786/88 that the French navy began to shorten those off. Don't slavishly trust the replica on this! Also the upper edge of the lower gunwale needs to be outlined. Right now it's merely a slab of dark color This inspires me to consider drawing my French "Eighties" in SB-scale though. |

Thanks for the complements guys. This inspires me to consider drawing my French "Eighties" in SB-scale though. Bezo, Please, please, please do the French "Eighties"! I'm not all that familiar with the French ships. Do you have any examples of the French Mizzen Sails and masting for the period? Looking forward to making corrections! CraigH |
