They are bollards, when "ready to dive" the crew lower and secure the bollards.

@Novice the SM39 you have drawn is way too big. The F17mod2 torpedo is much bigger than the SM39 missile (which is painted white ...).

How long you are on this forum now? There are no hard rules for Submarines ass said by both admins. It need to look shipbucketish, but more shade my be added, no black line needed. wings made be showed with origin shade style.
Just shy of two year I think.
Anyway, while it's true that the Submarine standard is exceptionally loose, it isn't that loose.
Note, I'm talking about the one by Aviapics.

Indeed these are bollards, and they appear on the original as well as the drawing from the SHD (French Defence History site).
Missile and torpedo are from the parts sheet as I couldn't find any pictures of French torpedoes  so if any one have any source material or wants to draw the torpedoes, than he's more than welcome.

some more changes made, thanks to Colombamike for the images, including those of the M51 missile

Torpedo was not changed as yet, as it needs to be done. AM-39 missile is from parts-sheet, and if it is wrong please inform me, or better yet - make a new version.
