Random thought: the color of her funnel in the first drawing makes me think of her as a tender or coastal steamer for the White Star Line had it survived to the present day. Anyone else get a vibe like that? Just curious.

A very nice drawing to be sure, Cunardfun, but I wonder about the funnel colors as well. As of 1946 the Canadian Pacific SS Co. had a buff funnel, no black top and a house flag on the funnel, as below

The funnel you drew belongs to the time between 1906 to 1921, and between 1921 to 1946 the funnel was plain buff (much like on the ss Beaverford I drew earlier, on this thread)

The Princess fleet was painted differently from the main fleet.

I stand corrected Cunardfan.
The general colors of Canadian Pacific threw me off a bit, as I'm more accustomed to the deep sea fleets (both Atlantic and Pacific)

The Princess fleet always had a closer relationship to the companies railway operations, hence the red/black/white multimark logo instead of the usual green and white used on the deep sea fleet. It also should be noted that pacific coast Princesses retained black hulls after the deep sea fleet changed to white. There were a few exceptions though. The Princess Helene, which operated in the maritime provinces had the house flag painted on the funnel. The Princess Patricia was painted with a white hull after being converted for cruising purposes in late 60s. The Princess of Nanaimo was also painted with a white hull after being transferred to the Atlantic (renamed Princess of Acadia) to replace the Helene.

All correct. Princess of Nanaimo even had a buff funnel with the house flag when painted white with green boot topping.

In 1928 the Hamburg America line (HAPAG) built a series of big motor ships for its Hamburg to the west coast of America services. The ships were all with some passengers capability and a big refrigerator capacity. All ships were named after US west coast cities.
The ms Seattle was sunk in 1940 by Norwegian forces during WW2.

One of the HAPAG ships was the ms Oakland, which was sunk by British aircraft at Brest in 1944. In 1950 the ship was salvaged by the French, repaired and allocated to Louis Dreyfus Armateurs, and renames Alain L D. as part of the company re building
