After the Dunkerque's, David was expected to draw all the french never-were BB of the 1920s ;)
and after that, Bretagne & Courbet class to follow

I believe this is the final chapter in the Battleship Richelieu Saga. In 1949 the French Navy developed a proposal for an AA Battery Upgrade which this drawing reflects. The upgrade included using french modified German 105mm guns along with reposioning the 40mm Bofors
