Good stuff but the railing should always be a darker color than the camouflage color behind it - this helps it stand out. It's very tough to see it when it's lighter than the color behind it, especially as traditionally the railing is always darker than the base color.

Point well taken, Colosseum. Image adjusted accordingly and for the better. Thanks for your input, guys.

Looking nice now.

I also don't think it's really necessary to put the color chips (save that for an RN WW2 parts sheet) and I think it unnecessarily clutters the drawing. My preference is to just mention the camouflage scheme depicted in the second credit line. I hate to always use the Alaska as an example, but take a look here to see what I mean.

Sublime, a pure joy to look.
I agree with Colosseum's remark about the color chip though, but all in all a great re-work of an excellent drawing.

Absolutrly right Novice. And no need for credit for help and advice Monty. Best place for that is the archive where it deserves to be. :geek:

No problem at all, gentlemen. It's just that I was so glad to receive a quality copy of the colour chips that I felt it would be a bonus to include them in the drawing. But, since the colours are already in the drawing, I have taken your sound advice and removed the chips. All's well.

Excellent work. This looks really fine with the camouflage scheme applied.
