I've added the Giulio Cesare as she appeared in 1937 upon completion of her rebuild. She is lenthened with a good 10m. Two of her shafts were removed and all the old boilers were replaced with new ones, giving her a top speed of 27kts. The old 12in guns were rebored to 12,6 inches. Six turrets with twin 4,7in single purpose guns replaced the old secondary battery. The AA battery consisted of 8x100mm guns in four twin mounts. The light AA defense consisted of 12x37mm Breda guns in twin mounts and 12 Breda 13,2mm machine guns.
Unlike the battleships of other nations, the Cesare, like the other Italian battleships did not have torpedo bulges added, using instead the Pugliese system, which did not work well with the rebuilt battleships as they were too narrow to fully utilize the system.
