Working on this, I know they lost some sweeping gear and acquired some RIB's but need to track down some more reference. |

Big ask, has anybody got any decent Pictures, photos, line drawings of the Hunt class Mcmv HMS Brecon M29 post 1998 to 2008.......... Mainly of her stern, aft quarter...... After her deployment and modifications for service in the NI Squadron, she lost all of her rear equipment in place of two cranes and RIB's.... |

Thanks to excellents pictures provided by "Adenandy" here is The Hunt Class MCMV HMS Brecon as she appeared in 2000 whilst part of the Northern Island Squadron, her Stern was completely rebuilt with two cranes and two RIB's (side by side hench one only visible), another lighter crane with smaller RIB on the upper rear deck. and her Port and Starboard 20mm mountings have given away to addditional life rafts, also there has been some electronic modifications judging by the changed to the equiment fitted to the roof of the Bridge. this picture is also a good representation of her as the Training school HMS Raleigh in 2010 as she sits off Jupiter Piont in the river Lyhner although her pennent number has been removed.. |
