This is proving to be quite the month for USN carriers! First Saratoga and now the Nimitz! What's next, the Ford-class?! :) Excellent work thus far!

Well CV-59 Forrestal is in the workings, something it have been for a long time. But how knows it might be the next CV that suddenly appear in the forum. But it go slow, we that draw it, is working on every small details that we find necessary to draw in to the ship.

Yeah I agree ! It also take a long work to give these beauties some justice :)

Updated, please help me for checking the electronics and parts but I think it's almost done for the side view... :)

I'm no expert on US electronics so can't comment on that; but this looks like fine work to me.

looking nice so far, a few small comments:
- there are better drawings for the dog dish satcoms, however those are facing another direction. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/632 ... 201987.png
- it might be an good idea to have a better RHIB drawing on board.....
- the hull shading looks quite abrubt around the bilge keel and very straight at the bow. have you used a line plan or other good references for that?
- the Mk 29 seems to miss the stairs at it's back and seems to be facing aft.
- you might want to experiment with the railing colour, especially on the lower decks, as it is nearly invisble now.
- the hull shading also applies to the rudder and propeller shafts, I doubt those are all facing down = shaded ??
