I have to be honest, your rigging style and shading style inspired me when I was creating the Yamato's, fantastic work :D

Hello there

Great drawing of an interesting ship, and if you want a scan of the target-ship configuration, I could provide you with one from my old Breyer's Schlachtschiffe und Schlachtkreuzer 1905-1970; it is to the same (usually) high standard as all other drawings in that book.

One thing though - and here the old problem of conflicting sources is raising its ugly head again - both according to Conway's and Breyer, Kawachi and Settsu were twin screw ships (typical for ships with Curtis type turbines), which did not however prevent Breyer from publishing a picture of a triple-screw configuration on the same page. I honestly don't know, but since Breyer got confused about the number of shafts with other ships as well (top view of Moltke!), I tend to believe they actually were twin-shaft ships, since in the WW1 era triple shafts were quite rare outside Germany (the french had abandoned them after the Démocratie-class).

On the other hand, what the hell. The rest of the picture is just perfect.

Greetings
