I have started on the Paris as she appeared after her last refit in 1935.

Links for dropbox seem to be not working. I can't see the images :(

Now that I can see the images, I can only say that the work is a good start, but couple of points need to be addressed.
First the credits font is wrong both in size and shape, and the template you use is the old one without the Shipbucket logo in the right hand bottom corner.
Second is the continuity of shading, as the aft facing turrets need their shading reversed from the forward facing turrets.
I understand this is only WIP in its first stages, but I believe these two points should be remedied before any progress is made and the drawing is too clattered with details.

Nation and name of ship: Arial 14 - check.
Credit line: Arial 10 - check.

The fonts are the correct type and size.

But you need to set the anti-aliazing properly...
use these, copy and paste, it's how I do:

given the paint version you use 14 and 10 turns out wrong, try with 7/8 and 10/11

I remeber some time ago NightHunter mentioned a font called MingLiU in sizes 12 and 9 came out almost identical to Arial. Until I got the text tool in Photoshop to start working right, I used the fonts ADUMLg and ADUMSm in size 10 and 9, respectively. They come out only one px. shorter than Arial. Depending on what program you have and what version of it you have, (Windows completely changed how the text tool works from the XP version of Paint to Vista, and then again from Vista to Win7). I would suggest taking some time to go through the font catalouge on your drawing program and find the one that works best. If you can't find any, you can always cut and paste each letter individually like KHT said.

I have updated both drawings. I have added additional details like shading and rigging.
